Balfour Watermain Upgrade Wharf Road

In 2023 Kays Contracting entered into a contract with the RDCK, administered by Highland Consulting Ltd, for upgrading the watermain on Wharf Road in Balfour, BC. The work consisted of:

• Installing, testing and commissioning 730m of new water main.
• Re-instate the 24 existing residents services to the new main.
• Decommissioning the old asbestos water main.
• Replace gravel base prior to asphalt paving.
• Re-grade disturbed areas and hydro-mulch for erosion control.
